To make sure that you don't break and laws, rules, or regulations, then you should contact the town and county before you do your relocation. If you ask them ahead of time, then you can avoid any problems that may lie ahead of you.
Another thing that you should do before your relocation is to learn about certain cultural aspects of the town or state that you are moving to. If you find out that the city is on a lake or river, then there are no doubt a lot of water activities in the spring, fall, and summer. You should find out these things ahead of your relocation so that you know more about the place before you go. Not only will it make your move easier, but it will also show respect to the people who already live there. If your new neighbors see that you took the time to relate to the new area, they will respect you and be pleased at the effort that you have put into it. It can definitely help you make friends when you get there.
